Katherine Heigl reveals how growing up in a 'white bubble' has impacted the way that she parented her adopted multiracial family. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister who was from South Korea. "I I asked my sister Meg whether she'd been treated in one manner when she was walking around with our parents and in a different manner when she was out by herself without them. Meg responded "Oh Yes! All the time!" Heigl admitted to her parents that she realized how foolish she was. According to the actress, she grew angry. However, she wanted to channel this energy into aiding her adopted daughters. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been together for thirteen years. The couple's daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl was adopted by the couple in 2012.
