Zazie was the daughter of a German cabinet maker in Berlin in Germany, around 1991. Zazie Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin on the 1st of January 1, 1991. Jennifer Aniston is also a graduate of the same highschool. Beetz She graduated from LaGuardia in 2007, attended Skidmore College and studied French. The auditions began shortly after graduating and was offered the part in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of in Berlin and grew up with a German-American father and an African American mother living in New York, spoke both German as well as English at home. Zazie was appearing on community and local stage in her early days. In grade school, she discovered acting and became a professional actor. Zazie's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dance abilities definitely paid off. In 2010 the actor and dancer finally landed her breakout performance when she was cast as Rocky Blue in the show "Shake it Up," along with the co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya's vegetarianism began at the age of 11 after she visited the local slaughterhouse on a journey with her Dad. She told PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible, seeing all the animals being packed and waiting to be killed. "I could not believe this was the way I'd taken my meat!" She's since stuck to a plant-based diet.
